A leader not only in the company, but the local industry and community, Barbara has been a mentor and champion who serves with a genuine desire to help others shine.

As Sherman Office Manager for Virginia Cook, Realtors, Barbara works closely with the company’s sales agents to help them develop the skills and strategies that ensure exceptional home buying and selling experiences for every customer.

As an involved member of the Greater Texoma Association of Realtors (GTAR), Barbara has worked equally hard for the betterment of the real estate industry and Grayson County.

She has been a member of GTAR’s board of directors since 2004 and served as President in 2010 for the professional association. She has also served as chairman of the MLS Committee and on the MLS User Committee.

Dedicated to her own ongoing professional development, Barbara has earned the Accredited Buyers Representative and Certified Financial Specialist designations.

A Grayson County Resident since 1986 after moving here from Midland and the Oil Industry for a career change worked at Austin College from 1987 until 1996 in several different capacities before pursuing a career in Real Estate.

She has been married to her husband, Kevin, for 31 years; has one son, Jeremy and a granddaughter Mandy Ann.  They reside in Western Grayson County enjoying the country life.
