Beth Maryan is one of those fortunate individuals who found the way to blend the passions of her life into a career with Virginia Cook, Realtors.
The home buyers and sellers she now serves are equally blessed as Beth’s enthusiasm and commitment to making a meaningful difference flow through to an exceptional end result in every transaction.
“Beth’s passion is her fuel for success,” says Sheila Rice, executive vice president of Virginia Cook, Realtors. “There is a multiplier affect in doing what comes naturally to you, and Beth has tapped this energy to benefit her customers and all the other special people in her life.”
The ingredients begin with Beth’s love and in-depth knowledge of Dallas, where she has lived her entire life. Beth has a Bachelor’s Degree in Art History and even before she was a Realtor, Beth spent her free time driving through neighborhoods, analyzing the components of what made a house a home, and a collection of streets a community.
Then along came two precious sons, who gave Beth the insight and empathy necessary to serve her customers during what can be a stressful time in life. As in involved parent and volunteer at Greenhill School for nine years, Beth has also developed a vast network of friends and acquaintances who support her real estate business.
And finally there are Beth’s four-legged passions, better known as English Springer Spaniels. As a dedicated volunteer for English Springer Rescue of America, Inc. (ESRA), Beth has placed hundreds of abandoned and mistreated dogs into loving homes and continues to support the organization tirelessly.
“My family and friends know that I would spend every living minute working for ESRA if I could,” says Beth, who is a graduate of Southern Methodist University. “Then I realized that combining this activity with my love of homes and people was the most perfect career possible.”
Now as Beth brings the right home together with the right family, she has the satisfaction of helping ESRA with the donation she makes upon each closed sale. In fact, the people she has met by placing dogs in homes now turn to her for assistance in buying or selling their own properties.
“For everyone the right home provides the foundation for everything good in life,” says Beth.
