Bob Moran

When Bob Moran sold more Easter candy and magazine subscriptions than any of the other Cub Scouts in his pack, the handwriting was on the wall. He would have extraordinary success in sales and marketing!

Bob went on from that first experience to blaze a path in home retail, multi-family and residential sales for over 25 years as a top performing professional with a natural devotion to his client's bottom line as well as their dreams.

After graduating from Monmouth University in New Jersey, Bob began his sales and marketing career as a manufacturer's representative in home textiles for New York-based firms operating throughout the country. In 1987, he met a developer in Dallas who owned 5,000 apartments and had a 30 percent vacancy rate.

"This gentleman was looking for miracles to pump up his gross revenues and became convinced that if I knew how to move inventory for retailers, I could do the same for his vacancies," explains Bob. "It worked, and that was the beginning of a fabulous career in Dallas real estate."

Bob continues to work miracles for his customers, including a couple who got so much for their home that they said it was the first time in the sale of 12 homes in 30 years that they were delighted to pay the broker's fees. "We got that home on Park Lane sold during 100 degree weather, and I will always be friends with the couple, no matter where they move."

Recognized for his keen business sense and exceptional communication and negotiation skills, Bob has a few creative talents he draws upon when needed. "I play a mean accordion, and I brought it out during a rainy Sunday open house where only one person showed up," he remembers. "But that one person was a woman from Germany who said the music and the house reminded her of her homeland. She bought the house."

While maintaining a ranking among the top producers in the market, Mr. Moran has committed time to volunteer service. He has been a grief facilitator for several years at St. Rita and Preston Hollow Presbyterian Churches, and he is the first to give support or lend a hand to the elderly, handicapped, or neighbors and friends in his community.
