That’s the best way to describe Jodie Ferris and her commitment, dedication, energy and success as a real estate professional.

This is a woman who upon the unexpected death of her physician husband in 1978 found herself with three young daughters to raise and support. And every path seemed to point towards real estate sales, where she has been a top performing, multi-million-dollar producer for the past 28 years.

Jodie has earned numerous professional designations including the Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and the Graduate Realtors Institute (GRI). After earning her salesperson’s license in 1978, she continued on to earn the advanced broker’s license in 1980 and has maintained it ever since.

In the community, Jodie is currently serving as a representative on the Board of Ridglea Country Club Estates Homeowner’s Association, and she is an active member of St. Andrews Church Circle, TCU Women’s Exes and the Colonial Country Club. She served as an advisor for the Junior Women’s Club for many years, and is a former member of the Tarrant County Medical Auxiliary Society. She even ran for a seat on the school board in 1978!

Jodie raised those wonderful daughters, who went on to give her nine equally fabulous grandchildren, seven of whom attend Trinity Valley School and two who live in Houston and Clear Lake. In 1984, she married John Ferris and inherited 10 more grandchildren for a total of 19!
