“We work so that our valued customers realize their futures.”
-Richard Karotkin

When people turn to Richard Karotkin for real estate assistance, they get the drive and tenacity of an entrepreneur, the business savvy of a corporate executive, and the market expertise of a dedicated Realtor.

Because he partners with his wife, Alden, clients also get the peace of mind and confidence of having two experienced real estate professionals focused on their needs and goals.

“As Richard and Alden’s customers make one of the biggest investments of their lives, they know that two honest, hard working, proven professionals are on their side,” says Virginia Cook, chief executive officer of Virginia Cook, Realtors. “The Karotkin’s credentials translate into the most comprehensive real estate service and support.”

After serving as an executive in the home furnishings industry for 22 years, Richard went to the entrepreneurial side and started his own custom furnishings business with Alden. The couple successfully operated Expression Custom Furniture for 20 years before moving into residential sales as partners.

“Richard is a conscientious professional who is very focused on the well being and protection of his clients,” says Virginia Cook, chief executive officer of Virginia Cook, Realtors. “His insight as both a corporate executive and an entrepreneur are very beneficial to the home buyers and sellers he and Alden serve.”

As members of Virginia Cook, Realtors, Richard and Alden also bring to their customers the advantage of working with the second largest independently owned real estate firm in North Texas.  The company’s strong market presence and commitment to excellence is exemplified by more than 400 sales associates and staff working from 11 full-service offices.

A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Richard has given back to the community in which he works throughout his career.  Recent activities include serving as a state board member of the United Way, Campfire Girls and United Cerebral Palsy.

He and his wife are the proud parents of four children and three grandchildren.
