To Sandie doing the right thing included staying home to raise her children. But that doesn’t mean she wasn’t preparing for the future. Even as she worked tirelessly for the children, their schools and other organizations including Junior Club, The Woman’s Club of Fort Worth and Shakespeare in the Park, she was preparing for a career in real estate.

“My favorite Sunday afternoon activity was touring open houses and studying the local market and trends,” says Sandie, who also honed her marketing skills as a consultant for Discovery Toys. “My goal was to help others find a place they could call home, but I knew that would require 100 percent of my focus in order to do it the right way.”

Sandie holds a degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and earned her teaching certification at Texas Christian University. She has held numerous offices, including president, of her section of The Junior Woman’s Club, and in 1996 she was the charter president of Renaissance in The Woman’s Club.  She is an involved member of University Christian Church.

Sandie’s son has grown up to be a successful Realtor in Austin, while her daughter works in the high tech industry in Los Angeles where she is an inspiring actress.
